Posts: 4 10/12/09 02:21	Hello writers, I happened upon this site quite by accident. It seems to be very quiet these days, but I will introduce myself to the silence, if I must. I am Bridget, and I enjoy writing poetry. It is sometimes a release for me, and sometimes not. I do not post a lot of what I write, just a piece now and again. Came here from another poetry site (not yuku) called allpoetry, but didn't post much there, and not at all in recent years. They changed formats years ago, and I did not like the new style, and never went back. I've had a hard time finding a new home, so if you don't mind, I will just have a look about the place. This site has seen it's better days, until you humans took over. it wasn't so bad while you kept food in the fridge in the lunchroom, but we got us a mean-natured Scotsman in charge now that doesn't like pizza. Blahh! I'm the most famous and the humblest famous writer here, but I don't do poetry unless it's written in the Rat language. So if you're not a rat, you're out'a luck with me. There are a lot of poetry sites on the Internet. Sometimes, while idly chewing holes in the baseboards on YUKU, I run into them. I can give you the locations of the appropriate ratholes, but don't think you could get through. Just google for them and I'm sure you can find one that suits you. In the meantime, hang around and fill the fridge, will you? I like pepperoni with extra cheese. Your old pal, Oscar Rat, the famous rat writer.

I've been to other sites, but usually there are too many egos, and I do not tolerate foolishness. I'm funny that way, you see? I have been known to enjoy the company of many animals, even rats, you may be surprised to know! I do see that this place has got quiet. Do you think it's because of the Scot? They tend to be a dour bunch, those Scots. Too full of themselves. .. Not like pizza? What sort of human doesn't like pizza? Well, as long as I am here, I'll have a look about the place again...and perhaps drop a few cheese sandwiches off here and there as I go. ( I hope you do not mind. I have a tendency to be a bit messy like that) It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope to see you again some time, Monsieur Rat. Au Revoir!
