It's very slow here, Dreamy. Hows the Doc's site doing? I lost the address when I changed computers.
Oscar and I have moved on to other sites and are still writing, though I've slowed down a lot. Charlie |

Almost all of these boards are history. Chat boards don't seem to be the thing anymore. Shame, too.

Facebook seems to be where folks are gravitating now. If you are there, let me know and I'll send you my FB link.

Na. I'm not on any of those social boards. Chatting isn't my thing. All I do is hang around a couple of writing boards. Right now, I'm usually at
Fanstory.com.

I thought the same thing. It turned out to be a handy way to stay in touch.
I've heard about fanstory.com. Do you like it? |

It's perhaps the best site I've ever joined, this one excepted. The problem is it's a pay site, the first I've ever joined, though. It's
the only one that doesn't require a lot of time in critiquing in order to post your own work. In fact, you get points for commenting and critiquing but it
is not required in order to post.
I have a small circle of friends, and we critique each other. It has a good many experienced writers, not mostly new people like in most sites, and a good quality of writing. I recommend it, even if it does cost on a monthly or yearly basis. The site does have free membership. Charlie |

Since I can't post a story twice on Fanstory, I've been looking for a, preferably free, site to use for updated stories. I can't seem to find any
good ones.
They all have big faults, usually that I have to spend a lot more time critiquing than writing or posting. Not that I mind a bit of critiquing, but it does take a lot of time. A story filled with errors can generate many pages of mistakes and advice, which takes time I could be writing or doing real life tasks. Charlie |

I hear that. I'm to the point I need to address specific questions. A coach is best for me right now, I think.

Haaaaaaa! She's a paid writing coach. Published author and has given me good feedback. I was skeptical but when her advice meshed with a few other folks I
respected, and they said changes I'd made after her feedback were big improvements, I was sold. Expensive but hopefully worth it.
